The Enrepreneurship Minor targets non-business majors, providing them with the academic foundation necessary for success as entrepreneurs. Assits them in recognizing businessw opportunities, equips them with skills to secure funding, and provides insight on how to manage new and existing ventures.

By completing seven (7) required courses and two (2) electives, students can create a minor in entrepreneurship to support any major course of study offered by Howard. Managed by the School of Business, the requirements for an entrepreneurship minor represent a mix of standard coursework and experiential learning opportunities (electives). As an example, students can participate with local area non-profit and or social entrepreneurs to solve challenging problems in the community and beyond.
